Civilian
The backbone of Vice City. Run businesses, hold down jobs, build a life — or get swept up in the city's underbelly. Civilian RP is as deep as you make it.
Civilian Life in Vice City
The Civilian path is the foundation of VCRP. Without active civilians, there is no city. Civilians run businesses, hold down jobs, get robbed, hire lawyers, and make the world feel alive.
Civilian RP ranges from working legal jobs to owning businesses to getting caught up in gang wars to pursuing political careers. The city is what the civilians make of it.
- Legal and illegal jobs with custom scripts
- Business ownership — buy, run, and manage your own business
- Property ownership and housing
- Legal system participation — be a lawyer, judge, or client
- Civilian factions — mechanic shops, medical clinics, news outlets
- Custom clothing, vehicles, and character customization
Getting Started
New civilians start with a basic character and starter funds. Find a job, build your income, then work toward the lifestyle you want.
- Pick a starter job — delivery, taxi, mining, fishing, or more
- Build your bank account before making big purchases
- Join a civilian faction for structured RP right away
- Interact with other players — don't just grind jobs alone
- Read the Civilian Rulebook before your first session
